Shipping & Returns

We ship worldwide from Japan. Each piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, packed with care and sent to wherever you are.

Where: Japan and worldwide (Asia, Europe, Oceania, North America & more).
How: Japan Post (ePacket for small items, EMS for larger items), with tracking. For the United States, we will confirm the carrier with you before dispatch.
Cost: calculated at checkout by destination and weight.
Dispatch: usually within a few business days of your order.
Customs & duties: for international orders, any import duties or taxes are paid by the recipient and are not included in the item or shipping price. See the note below.

Because every piece is one-of-a-kind and handmade, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind.
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Import VAT and duties in your country are paid by the recipient. How they work depends on where you are.

EU: import VAT applies whatever the value (for example, Denmark 25%, Germany 19%, France 20%). Since 1 July 2026, parcels of 150 EUR or less may also carry a duty of 3 EUR per item.
United Kingdom: for parcels up to 135 GBP, UK rules place VAT at the point of sale rather than at the border. Above 135 GBP, VAT of 20% and any duty are usually paid on delivery. Items made in Japan may qualify for 0% duty.
United States: the 800 USD duty-free allowance was suspended in August 2025. For parcels sent by post, duties are now paid in advance by the sender. For US orders, we would like to agree on the shipping method with you first (for example, DHL).
Handling fees: in some countries, the postal or delivery company may add a fee when it collects the tax on your behalf (for example, Deutsche Post 7.50 EUR in Germany, Royal Mail 8 GBP in the UK).

Rates change. These figures are a guide as of the date above; the exact amount is set by customs in the destination country.
