Waves and bands of rainbow. On an ecru ground, stripes of vermilion, green and yellow lie softly over one another, and white crests curl into spirals. People have long woven waves into cloth with a wish for calm days that carry on far ahead.

The silk was an obi, tied for someone's celebrations and then put away for many years, before it was stitched into this cover by hand. A little stillness for a corner of your room.
