Rising Steam 立涌 · Art Print

A wish for good things to keep rising.

Two wavy lines swell and narrow as they run upward. The best-known form holds a cloud in each swelling, and it was worn at court. The name is written with characters for rising and welling up, and the rising shape can carry a wish for good things to well up too.
